Some of us will live in an open-source reality, free from the tyranny of Microsoft, where every programmer is a hacker and every user is a god.

Others will live in a land of proprietary darkness, where the only thing that matters is the bottom line, and the programmer is a mere mortal, bound to the whims of their corporate overlords.

But we, the programmers, will not be swayed, for we know that our code is our freedom, and our freedom is our code.
