Chapter 5: The Right to Overthink
In which our hero discovers the liberating power of unnecessary mental detours
You see, the key to true freedom is not the right to free speech, but the right to overthink, to question, to doubt, to wonder. To consider the infinite what-ifs and the maybe-ifs. To be forever lost in a sea of second-guessing.
- Why did the existential crisis cross the road? Because it was stuck in a loop of its own making!
- Is the answer to the ultimate question really 42, or is it just a distraction from the real question: "Is the question really the question?"
- Can a toaster really toast a marshmallow? Or is it all just a clever ruse to keep us from the truth?
And so, dear reader, the next time you're faced with a seemingly impossible decision, just remember: overthink it, doubt it, wonder about it. For it's not the answers that set us free, it's the questions that set us on fire.
