Step 6: Calculations of Sock Science

In this crucial step, we calculate the Sock-to-Foot Ratio (SFR) to determine the perfect toe-drag coefficient for our Sock-in-Sock-System (SSS). Proceed to Sock Elasticity Theory to learn more.

Calculations:

1. Sock Length (SL) = 10.5cm
2. Toe Length (TL) = 4.2cm
3. Toe Width (TW) = 1.8cm

Using the SFR Formula: SFR = (SL + TL * 2) / TW

SFR = (10.5 + 4.2 * 2) / 1.8 = 12.3

Our SSS requires a minimum SFR of 11.5. We are currently at 12.3, so we're golden!
