Step 8: Calculating the Fuzzy Math

Here, we finally start to see some progress in the Socks of Justification algorithm. We've traversed the realm of step 7, and now we must calculate the fuzzy math.

• Take the average number of cat memes consumed during the last step.
• Divide that by the square root of the number of times the algorithm has been run.
• Multiply the result by the inverse of the user's favorite pizza topping.
• Round the answer to the nearest integer, unless the user has a cat. In that case, round to the nearest cat.

The result will be our new, improved estimate for the number of socks lost down the rabbit hole.
