Exercise 2: The CEO's Schedule
Let's face it, being a CEO is not all fun and games. You've got meetings, reports, and endless cups of coffee to fuel your productivity.
Here's a typical day in the life of a CEO, minus the myth that they're always busy:
- 8:00 AM: Wake up, stretch, and check emails
- 8:05 AM: Realize that 90% of them are just spam
- 8:15 AM: Start responding to actual emails, one by one
- 12:00 PM: Lunch break! Eat a sandwich, scroll through Twitter
- 1:30 PM: Meetings, meetings, and more meetings!
- 4:30 PM: More emails, more spreadsheets, more PowerPoint presentations
- 6:00 PM: Finish the day with a 10-minute meditation session (or 10 minutes of actual work)
Debunking the Myth of The All-Important Emails
Fact: 99% of CEO emails are not, in fact, all-important.
Fact: 99.9% of emails are just someone asking for help with their cat.
