The Self-Indulgent Selfie Sprint
As we continue to debunk the theory of burnout, we must confront the elephant in the room: self-care. Or, more specifically, the self-indulgent selfie-taking habits that have become the hallmark of our modern lives.
Exercises 2.0: Unleashing the Power of Selfies
- Take 50 selfies in one sitting, using only your non-dominant hand.
- Post 10 of these on social media, using only the most obnoxious filters.
- Write a 5-line poem about your favorite selfie-taking spot, using only words that start with the letter 'S'.
- Share your poem on the 'Selfie-Selfie Self-Indulgence' subpage (3.0 Selfie-Selfie Self-Care)
- Repeat exercises 1-4 until your phone's storage is full, or your arm aches.
Remember, the goal of these exercises is to reach a state of self-satiation, where you can no longer distinguish between self-care and self-indulgence. Only then will you truly be free from burnout.
Side Effects:
- Excessive use of filters may cause eye strain.
- Repetitive strain injury from holding your phone for extended periods.
- Increased risk of social media addiction.
- Unsolicited selfies from friends and family may cause emotional burnout.
