Congratulations! We survived the escape room! Now, let's talk about how we didn't.
It was a team effort, but also a team failure. Our communication was like trying to play a game of telephone with a bunch of people who have never used a phone before.
Lesson 1: The importance of active listening. When one person says "I'm going to go check the other room", don't assume they mean "I'm going to go check the other room, and then come back with nothing". Actually, listen to what they say, and then do what you said you were going to do.
Lesson 2: The dangers of groupthink. Just because everyone else thinks it's a good idea, doesn't mean it's not a terrible idea. Ask questions, like "Is this actually going to get us out of here, or is this just a distraction?"
Lesson 3: The value of a good exit strategy. Don't assume the exit is the same as the entrance. It's not. Trust us, we tried.
Lesson 4: The importance of a good team motto. "United we stand, divided we escape". Just kidding, we didn't actually escape.
So, what did we learn from our failed escape room adventure? That we need to work on our team communication, for starters.

Or, you know, we could just play it again. Play Again
Or, you know, we could just leave.
