The Early Days
It all started in the year 2000, when our founder, a caffeine-fueled visionary, first conceived the idea of a cafe where the art of coffee processing is elevated to an art form.
After years of trial and error, and countless cups of subpar coffee, the Permit Processing Cafe finally opened its doors in 2005, serving up a unique blend of high-octane java and avant-garde attitude.
Today, we're still pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a coffee shop, but now we also offer a side of existential dread and ennui with every cup.
