History of Obnoxious Pink

Obnoxious Pink was first introduced by the great and powerful King Ptolemy III in 305 BC as a way to distract his people from the crushing poverty and despair that was the reality of ancient Egypt.

It was meant to be a temporary solution, but like all good things, it became too big to fail and has stuck around ever since.

Today, Obnoxious Pink is used by governments worldwide as a way to signal that they're "thinking outside the box" while secretly doing nothing of the sort.

But don't just take our word for it, see for yourself at the Footnotes for more information.

Or, for a more personal touch, check out our Letters from Readers section.

And, if you're feeling brave, try to petition the government to have it repealed.
