ANXIOUS EXERCISES

For when your anxiety has taken over, but you still need to get stuff done.

1. Draw Something, but Don't Bother. - Channel your inner art school dropout and create masterpieces that you'll inevitably trash later.

2. Walk in Circles (Around Your Room) - The classic anxiety exercise. Walk around your room in ever-decreasing concentric circles, muttering "I have so much to do, I have so much to do..."

3. Overthink Everything - A game of "what if" and "maybe it's not that" and "definitely it's not that" and "oh wait, what was I just thinking about again?"

4. Write a Story About a Cat - Channel your inner feline-themed anxiety into a 50,000-word novel that will never be published, but might be read by 3 people at a cat cafe.

5. Twist and Shout - Dance the anxiety out! Or just pretend to. We won't judge you.

6. Overanalyze a Pizza Menu - "Is the pepperoni a metaphor for the existential dread of modern life? Or is it just pepperoni?"

7. Pretend to Work on a Project - Fake it till you make it! or fake it till you can't, either.
