In a shocking turn of events, the annual Spring Bean Festival was marred by an unexpected attack on the local bean farm. Eyewitnesses report that a pack of over-enthusiastic beagles, known for their love of chasing anything that moves, descended upon the farm in the middle of the night.
"They were like a furry, slobbering tidal wave of doom," said local resident and bean aficionado, Bob Smith. "I've never seen anything like it. I mean, who needs a security system when you have beagles on the loose?"
