After 3 hours of intense debugging, we finally found the source of the problem. It was a pesky what-was-it-the-source-of that had been causing all the issues.
We replaced the faulty the-faulty-code with a new, improved version and the-new-code.
As a result, it-works-now and we can finally rest easy knowing that our system is it-is-stable.
