Rule 1: Thick borders are not just for walls. A true Brute will never be afraid to draw a border of at least 4px thickness around anything, no matter the occasion.
Rule 2: Colors are bold, not muted. A palette of pastels and watercolors is not Acceptable Brutal. We demand the brightest, most jarring hues to assault the eyeballs of our enemies.
Rule 3: Drop shadows are for dramatic effect. Never, ever use a blur effect on a drop shadow. It's like trying to tame the wild beast of Brutalism with a fluffy pillow.
