Contaminated Materials Handling

Level 2 Protocols

Handling contaminated materials requires utmost caution. Please follow these Level 2 protocols:

• Gloves, lab coats, and face shields must be worn at all times.
• Materials must be contained in designated areas, sealed and labeled with hazard signs.
• Decontamination procedures must be followed for all exposed surfaces, including but not limited to:
• Surfaces with visible signs of contamination
• Surfaces with potential for airborne transmission

In the unlikely event of a containment breach, please report immediately to the Incident Response Team. They can be contacted at emergency protocols
