As the cookies spread across the land, so did their influence. People began to worship the crunchy, the chewy, and the cookie-shaped gods.
They built temples out of cookie jars, performed rituals with cookie cutters, and whispered incantations of "chocolate chip, chocolate chip, chocolate chip" in hushed tones.
But not everyone was pleased with the cookie's rise to power. The Oatmeal Insurrection rose up, fueled by a desire for a more... wholesome cookie experience.
The wars raged on for centuries, with cookies and bakers on the front lines, but in the end, only one cookie stood tall.
