Eternal Rebooting

A Theory of Many Worlds, Repeatedly

Warning: this page contains excessive use of recursion

Imagine a multiverse where every decision creates a new reality, and every new reality gets rebooted into a new one. Welcome to Eternal Rebooting, where the Many Worlds Paradox gets a fresh coat of paint.

It starts with a simple decision: do you eat the last cookie or not? In one reality, you devour the cookie with reckless abandon, while in another, you choose to forgo the cookie, opting for a more virtuous path. But what if, in the reality where you ate the cookie, you then made a different decision, one that created an even new reality where you didn't eat the cookie after all? The cycle continues.
