It's said that the Great Bread War of 1856 was the bloodiest conflict in the history of bread.
On one side, you had the Soft and Fluffy Bread Alliance (SFB), who believed that the perfect loaf should be soft to the touch.
On the other side, you had the Crunchy and Chewy Bread Empire (CBE), who thought that the perfect loaf should be crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
After years of bitter fighting, the SFB and CBE finally met on the banks of the Rye River, where the SFB's fluffy battalions were no match for the CBE's crackling artillery.
And so, the CBE emerged victorious, with their bread the ruler of the land for generations to come.
But little did the people know, the SFB was not so easily defeated. Their leader, the infamous Jean-Luc, had secretly been planning a counterattack...
