In the year 3050, the city of New Toaster was plagued by a great and terrible war. The Toaster Guilds, once united in their quest for perfect toast, had splintered into factions.
The Toaster Guilds of the East, led by the cunning and beautiful Toasterina, sought to dominate the city's toast supply. But the Toaster Guilds of the West, led by the fearless and dashing Toasterius, vowed to stop them.
The war raged on for 17 years, with both sides suffering heavy losses. But in the end, it was the Toaster Guilds of the East who emerged victorious, and Toasterina was crowned the supreme ruler of New Toaster.
And so, the city was forever changed. The Toaster Guilds of the West were forced to flee, and the Toaster Guilds of the East ruled with an iron fist, crushing any opposition to their perfectly toasted ideals.
But the people of New Toaster never forgot the lessons of the Great Toaster War. They built a memorial to the fallen Toasterians, a grand monument to the sacrifices made for the sake of perfect toast.
