Emptyness and the Law

The great Emptyness Debacle of 2023 was a turning point in the history of our world. A catastrophic event that left millions bereft of their possessions, their homes, their loved ones, and worst of all, their dignity. But in the midst of the chaos, one thing stood tall: the law.

Or rather, the lack thereof.

As the courts clogged with cases of "I left my keys on the counter," "I forgot my cat's birthday," and "I ate the last donut," the system ground to a halt. The judges, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of empty cases, declared, "Enough!" and created a new law: the law of emptiness.

The law of emptiness states that in cases where the only thing that matters is the lack thereof, the case is automatically dismissed. It's simple, really. No need for lengthy trials or tedious paperwork.

And so, the people rejoiced. No more wasted time and resources on empty cases. But little did they know, the law of emptiness was just the beginning.

For in the shadows, a new industry was born: the industry of emptiness consultants. Experts in the art of doing nothing, these consultants would swoop in and advise the courts on the most efficient way to dismiss a case. And so, the cycle of emptiness continued.

And so, the people suffered.

But fear not, dear reader. For in this sea of emptiness, there is hope. A glimmer of a chance that one day, we might find our way back to a world where the law is not just a tool for dismissing cases, but a force for good.
