Mandate of the Century: Sock Gate 2023

It all started with one fateful evening, when the Sock King decreed:

• That all citizens must wear matching socks on Fridays to show their devotion.
• To impose a 300% tax on all non-matching sock sales.
• To create a Ministry of Socks, with the Sock King as its head.

And so, the people rejoiced... or were forced to.
