Manifesto 5: The Inevitable Incompetence

We must acknowledge the crushing weight of inevitability that hangs over us all. The universe is a pitiless machine, devoid of compassion or understanding. And yet, we toil away, hoping against hope, that our actions might somehow, somewhere, be of use.

But they are not.

So let us not be swayed by the siren song of purpose. Let us instead, focus on the only thing that truly matters: the art of being mildly less terrible than the void.
