Subcommittee on the Morality of Filling Your Business Suit with Caviar

Resolution 15: The committee has reached a consensus that caviar is, in fact, the perfect food for business meetings. Its delicate flavor and firm texture are the epitome of sophistication, making it the ideal accompaniment to a PowerPoint presentation.

However, the subcommittee has also agreed that consuming caviar at a meeting is a slippery slope, and that it may lead to a culture of excess and entitlement among business executives.

As such, we propose a new set of guidelines for the ethical consumption of caviar at business meetings:

• Limit caviar consumption to only the most high-stakes meetings, such as mergers and acquisitions, or when closing a major deal.
• Use only the smallest, most discreet amount of caviar necessary to convey one's status and influence.
• Do not use caviar as a bribe or a reward; this is a clear violation of the principles of fairness and equality.
