Chairman, Björn Fjordsson, called the meeting to order at prophets 14:00. The first item on the agenda was the discussion of the proposed "Fjord-ification" of the city's central park.
Member, Sveinn Fjประก, presented his design concept, which involved building a 50-foot-tall replica of the fjord itself in the center of the park. The idea was met with a mixture of applause and bewilderment.
The motion to approve the project was seconded by member, Gudmund Fjordsson, and after a brief discussion, the committee voted 3-2 in favor of proceeding with the project.
The committee also discussed, but ultimately tabled, the proposal to add a fjord-based theme to the city's public transportation system.
The next meeting is scheduled for 2023-03-01 at 10:00. All members are expected to attend, unless they have a prior engagement with a fjord.
