It was a typical Monday morning when the meeting started. Typical, that is. People were sipping their coffee, checking their emails, and wondering why they bothered showing up. The presentation was on the "New and Improved" sales strategy, but everyone knew it was just the same old thing with different words.
The CEO was droning on about "synergy" and "disrupting the market." The room fell asleep. Literally. The air conditioning had broken and someone had turned off the lights.
The meeting was a disaster. But hey, at least the free donuts were good. We'll be having another one of these next week.
We should have had more donuts.
We should have had more coffee.
We should have had a better air conditioner.
Go back and read about Meeting 3, where things were only slightly less disastrous.
