Named after the Roman poet Clavius, this massive crater is the size of a small country. It's like the moon's answer to the Grand Canyon, but with more rocks and less tourists.

Fun fact: Clavius is so big that you could fit a small moonbase in it. Just don't try, it's a work in progress.
