Overheating Problems with Short Circuit Batteries
Batteries are supposed to be reliable, but what happens when they short circuit? Find out why you're not getting any work done, and how to prevent these pesky problems in the future.
Causes:
- Overcharged: You've left your battery in the sun for too long, and now it's like a toaster.
- Shorted Circuits: Someone (or something) has connected the wrong wires, and now you're on the outside looking in.
- Leaky Cells: Water's getting in, and your battery's like a leaky faucet.
Fixes:
- Recharge: Give it a good old-fashioned reboot.
- Swap Wires: Get a new set of cables, and make sure they're not crossed.
- Seal the Deal: Find the source of the leak, and plug it.
