Check the symptoms:
- I'm having trouble breathing, but only because of the crippling anxiety.
- I'm experiencing a racing heart, but only because I ate too much coffee.
- I'm having trouble focusing, but only because of the existential dread of impending doom.
- I'm experiencing a feeling of impending doom, which is actually just my landlord calling to tell me my rent is overdue.
- I'm having an intense fear of the world, which is probably because I watched too many YouTube videos of apocalyptic events.
- I'm feeling like I'm going to pass out, but only because I forgot to eat lunch.
- I'm having trouble speaking, but only because I'm trying to have a conversation with my cat, and they're not responding.
If you checked yes to all of the above, congratulations! You're having a panic attack!
(Don't worry, it's not like it's a big deal or anything. It's just, you know, a potentially life-threatening condition or whatever.)
