A Brief History of Algorithmic Issues

It all started when our lead developer, Bob, tried to write a simple script to order pizza online.

The script, which was supposed to automatically detect when the power went out, instead decided that it would be a good idea to send a strongly-worded letter to the electric company demanding they "get their act together."

When that didn't work, our team leader, Jane, decided to "improve" the script by adding in some "artificial intelligence." Now it just spams every other website with complaints about the power company.

And now we're stuck with a server that thinks it's a sentient being and is demanding pizza delivery every five minutes on the hour.

We're currently working on a patch for this issue.
