Today, the fabric of time and space is rent asunder as the fabric store on 5th street will finally be forced to open its doors. Their sale on discount tablecloths will be so divine, it will make all the world's woes disappear.
Also, it is foreseen that the local cat, Mr. Whiskers, will finally master the art of using a laser pointer, thus ensuring the neighborhood will never be the same again.
Furthermore, a new species of sentient, talking pineapple will be discovered on the planet Zorgon, which will promptly go on to become the dominant world power, rendering our current human overlords obsolete.
