History
Rockville was founded in the 1950s as a small mining town. The town's name is derived from the abundance of rock formations in the area, including the famous "Rockville Boulder" - a large granite boulder that sits atop the town's central square.
Today, Rockville is known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and music venues. The town hosts the annual "Rockville Ruckus" festival, which features live music, rock climbing, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament.
