Legend has it that the first ritual was performed by a wise and powerful sensei who hid it in a hollowed-out volcano.
Over the centuries, the rituals have been passed down through a series of cryptic notes and hidden scrolls.
The Rituals
The Basic Shuffle
The Basic Shuffle is the foundation upon which all other secret handshakes are built. It consists of three steps:
- Step the first: The ninja approaches the handshake location with the confidence of a thousand suns.
- Step the second: The ninja executes the first tap, a gentle caress of the hand.
- Step the third: The ninja executes the second tap, a firm press of the palm.
The Advanced Wiggle
The Advanced Wiggle is an extension of the Basic Shuffle. It requires a deeper understanding of the ninja arts.
It consists of five steps: the Basic Shuffle, plus two additional taps, the Wiggle Tap and the Palm Swipe.
- Step the first: The Basic Shuffle.
- Step the second: The Wiggle Tap, a quick flick of the pinky.
- Step the third: The Palm Swipe, a swift motion of the hand.
- Step the fourth: The Basic Shuffle, again.
- Step the fifth: The Wiggle Tap, once more.
The Expert Flick
The Expert Flick is the most advanced of the secret handshake rituals. It requires years of practice and dedication.
It consists of seven steps: the Basic Shuffle, the Advanced Wiggle, and three additional taps, the Expert Tap, the Flick, and the Snap.
- Step the first: The Basic Shuffle.
- Step the second: The Advanced Wiggle.
- Step the third: The Expert Tap, a firm press of the fingers.
- Step the fourth: The Flick, a quick motion of the wrist.
- Step the fifth: The Basic Shuffle, again.
- Step the sixth: The Wiggle Tap, a quick flick of the pinky.
- Step the seventh: The Snap, a sudden motion of the fingers.
