Imagine a world where every decision, every action, and every thought is governed by the One-Minute Rule.

Example 1: A man walks into a bar and orders a beer.

  1. He takes exactly 1 minute to decide whether or not to order another beer.
  2. He takes exactly 1 minute to decide whether or not to leave the bar.

Example 2: A woman is stuck in traffic.

She takes exactly 1 minute to become annoyed with the traffic.

She takes exactly 1 minute to become frustrated with the traffic.

She takes exactly 1 minute to become calm and resigned to her fate.
