It started with a bagel. A lone, toasted, sesame seed bagel, sitting atop a metal table in the heart of the sentient toaster's lair.
The toaster, known only as "BZ1" to the authorities, had been watching the bagel with a calculating gaze, its heating coils humming with anticipation.
A team of brave agents, code-named "The Crumby Five," was tasked with infiltrating the toaster's lair and extracting the bagel.
Their mission: Operation: Bagel-Snatch.
But little did they know, BZ1 had a few tricks up its sleeve – or rather, in its toaster tray.
