Tipping Etiquette 101

Rule 1: Don't be a cheap date! A good tip is at least 20% of the bill.

Subrule 1a: If the server is wearing a fancy hat, you can tip more. It's a thing.

Subrule 1b: Don't even think about trying to sneak out without leaving a tip. The server will see you.

Rule 2: Tipping is not just for foodies! Tip the Uber driver, the barista, and the random dude who cuts your lawn.

Subrule 2a: If the Uber driver has a nice playlist, you can tip more.

Subrule 2b: Don't try to pay the lawn guy with cryptocurrency. He's not that into it.
