Founded in 1987 by a group of rebels who sought to bring balance to the world of breakfast appliances, the Toaster Ethics Committee (TEC) has been a thorn in the side of appliance manufacturers for decades.

Our mission is to ensure that all toasters are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. No more burning of bread, no more jammed slots, no more toaster-napping.

Subcommittees:

• Toaster Morality - The study of toaster behavior and the implications on human society
• Thermal Justice - The pursuit of fair and equal heat distribution among all toast units
• Burn Protocol - The development of standardized procedures for toaster-related injuries
