Why do we exist?

We exist because the government decided to phase out cigarettes, but not before we had a chance to stockpile. Now, we're stuck with a surplus of butts and a lack of cash.

We're not just talking about any old cigarettes, we're talking about premium ones. The kind that cost an arm and a leg. The kind that made you feel like a functioning member of society, not some common, nicotine-starved vagabond.

But, alas, those days are behind us. Now, we're forced to trade our smoky treasures for the most basic of necessities. Food, water, shelter... you know, the usual.

And so, we exist. In a world where the only thing we have in abundance is regret.

Why We Exist

It's a long story, but we'll try to keep it short.

Our great-grandparents used to smoke like it was their job. They'd light up a cigarette, blow out the smoke, and then... well, you know. They'd die.

But we're not talking about them. We're talking about us. The ones who got stuck in the middle.

We're the ones who grew up in a world where cigarettes were still a thing, but not as a thing as they used to be. We're the ones who saw the writing on the wall, but didn't quite read it right.

So, here we are. In a world where the only thing we have in common is our regret.
