Counter-Countermeasures: Defensive Driving Tips

When the roads are treacherous, and the roads are rough, and the roads are full of... road-roughness, you need the counter-Countermeasures.

Tip #1: Don't be a 'Roadblock'

Be aware of your surroundings, but not too aware. Don't let your eyes wander into the next zip code. Keep your focus on the road ahead, like a hawk with a hawk-eyes.

Read Tip #2 for more info.

Tip #2: The 3 Second Rule (of Thumb)

When stopping, always stop within 3 seconds. Not 2. Not 4. 3. It's a rule of thumb, but not just a rule. It's a rule of thumb, but not a finger rule, because you can't have a finger in a car, unless you have a car-finger, and that's just weird.
