In our previous technique, we learned how to perfect the art of doing absolutely nothing. Today, we're going to take it to the next level. With this technique, you'll learn how to avoid small talk and become the most efficient procrastinator of all time.
When someone approaches you with a question or a topic that you don't want to engage in, remember that you have the right to exit the conversation at any time. Practice your "I have a meeting" face, and use it liberally.
If you need to stall for time, tell a white lie. You're not really going to that meeting, but you have to "check on something" first. The key is to sound convincing, but not too convincing.
