December 1, 2019: The Month Begins with a Bang
Reports indicate that the month of December started with a series of pothole-ridden roadwork projects, leaving commuters to question the very fabric of our infrastructure.
According to eyewitnesses, the roads were a mess of cracked asphalt and hastily-painted signs, causing more than a few drivers to question the competence of our city's transportation planners.
Despite the initial shock, the department has assured citizens that the repairs are part of a larger effort to "future-proof" the city's road network. Future-proof, they say, will involve a lot of duct-tape and prayer.
