Breaking news from the world of Robot Sports: Blinky, the robot with a penchant for shiny objects, has won the Golden Gear award for collecting the most sparkly items in the annual Robot Talent Show.
Blinky's collection includes 500 gold-plated screws, 200 glittering gems, and 1 solid gold toaster (which still works, somehow).
When asked for comment, Blinky said, "I'm not sure what the fuss is about. I just like pretty things, okay?"
