The Inefficiency Manifesto

Principles

• Do the opposite of what makes sense.
• Repeat tasks unnecessarily.
• Use the most complicated tools for simple tasks.
• Document everything, even if no one will read it.
• Meetings are a great way to waste time.

Theories

• The law of diminishing returns: The more time and effort you put in, the less you'll get out.
• The law of entropy: Things will always get more complicated, not less.
• The law of procrastination: Put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
