Resolution 1: To establish a national holiday to celebrate the art of procrastination.

Section 1: Proclamation of Procrastination Day

Whereas, the members of this committee believe that procrastination is a vital part of human progress; and

Whereas, our ancestors have always found creative ways to avoid doing things; and

Whereas, our modern society has forgotten the importance of taking three-hour lunches and playing Solitaire;

Be it hereby resolved that:

Article 1: Procrastination Day shall be celebrated on the third Thursday of every month.

Article 2: Every citizen of this great nation shall be given a Procrastination Voucher, redeemable for a free hour of Netflix and a 20% discount on all craft beer.

To be implemented by the Ministry of Procrastination, effective immediately.
