Subcommittee on Definitions - Agenda for Today's Debate

Progress is Not Progress (A Definition)

We, the members of the subcommittee, have gathered here today to define the definition of progress. Because, apparently, it's not just a given.

Our definition is as follows: "Progress is the sound of one's pants falling down in the wind." - A quote from our esteemed chairperson, who is clearly a sage and wise leader.

But, but, but - what's the agenda for today's debate, then?

Agenda:

  1. Pretend to care about the definition
  2. Make some half-hearted attempts at understanding the definition
  3. Realize it's all just a bunch of words
  4. Call a recess to grab some snacks
  5. Resume the debate with more half-hearted attempts at understanding the definition
Minute of Silence (because, honestly, we're all just winging it) Adjourning for Lunch (because, let's be real, we're all starving)
