Procrastination Strategies - Pointless Committee

Here are some of our favorite ways to waste time:

Warning: The following strategies are not recommended for use with our committee members under the age of 18, or for those with a history of productivity.

Decline to Reschedule

Declining to reschedule is the art of saying "no" without actually doing anything. It's like a game of telephone, where you pretend to be busy, but really you're just browsing cat videos.

Here's an example of how to play:

  1. When someone invites you to a meeting, pretend you're in a meeting.
  2. When they ask what you're doing, say "I'm in a meeting."
  3. When they ask what you're meeting about, say "It's a meeting about meetings."

And so on.

Procrastinate with a Vacation - Because who needs actual work when you can have a tan?

Learn to Play the Ukulele - Because productivity is overrated.

Forget What You Were Working On - The art of starting from scratch.

Pretend You're a Professor - The thrill of lecturing to an empty room.
