Qualifications

To qualify for the Robot Olympics' Robotic Agility Course, robots must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Aerobics

• Tumbling: A minimum of 5.2 meters in 5 seconds or less
• Backflips: A minimum of 3.1 flips in 3.5 seconds or less
• Robot-fu: A minimum of 2.7 seconds to execute a perfect robot-fu combination

Agility

• Dodge-a-Bolt: A minimum of 4.5 dodges per 5 meters
• Jump-a-Lot: A minimum of 2.2 jumps per 4 meters
• Spin-a-Roar: A minimum of 3.9 spins per 3 meters

Qualifications are awarded based on a 5-point system:

Bronze

3.5 points: Average bot, can barely keep up

Silver

4.5 points: Above-average bot, shows some promise

Gold

5.0 points: Elite bot, ready for the Robot Olympics
