Slow Reader Meeting Attendance Policy
Due to our commitment to inclusivity, we have a very relaxed attendance policy for meetings.
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, and our attendees might be stuck in the middle of:
- Reading a 500-page report about crop rotation
- Watching cat videos on YouTube
- Trying to remember where they put their keys
Our policy allows for a maximum of 5 consecutive meetings to be attended without actually attending the meeting, as long as you provide a valid excuse.
Valid excuses include:
- My cat's therapist appointment ran late
- I'm experiencing existential dread and need time to process
- My toaster started a union and I'm attending the first meeting
Unvalid excuses include:
- My Wi-Fi's on the fritz
- I'm allergic to meetings (we respect that)
- I'm busy playing video games
Don't worry, we have a special 'Slow Reader Badge' for our attendees who have mastered the art of attending meetings from the comfort of their own home.

Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you can try our:
