Today's meeting was supposed to start on time, but our chair, Bertrand the Unrelenting, is still sipping his morning coffee. Meanwhile, the rest of the committee is stuck waiting for him to arrive.
As the clock ticks away, the committee members start to get restless. "Is it too much to ask for a 9:00 AM meeting start time?" asks Karen, the resident morning person. "Can't we just have a 10:00 AM meeting instead?" chimes in Bob, the eternal slacker.
Just as it seems like the meeting will never start, Bertrand bursts in the door, still clutching his coffee cup. "Sorry, everyone, sorry! I'm here, I'm here!"
The subcommittee is tasked with investigating the theft of Bertrand's coffee cup from the break room fridge. "It's a travesty, I tell you!" he exclaims.
