Meetings are like a box of chocolates, you never know when you're going to get stuck in another one. That's why we've established the Adjournment by Proxy protocol. It's simple: just assign someone else to attend for you and voilà! You're free to do whatever you want.

But don't just do it willy-nilly, make sure you've got a good reason for your proxy. Here are some examples:

• You're stuck in traffic, and your meeting is running late.
• You've got a sudden case of "Meeting-Induced Comas" and can't move.
• You're on a tight deadline and can't afford the time.
• You're on vacation, and your phone is on airplane mode.

Remember, it's all about being efficient. And if that means sending a proxy to attend the meeting for you, so be it. But don't say we didn't warn you...
