Tenet 2: Avoiding Structure

The second tenet of Sloth-napping is to avoid structure at all costs. This means eschewing any semblance of organization, planning, or purpose. A true Sloth-napper must be a master of chaos, a lord of disorder, a sultan of spontaneity.

To achieve this state of structure-free bliss, one must first rid oneself of any and all schedules, appointments, and commitments. No alarms, no reminders, no deadlines. The only schedule that matters is the one dictated by the whims of the Sloth-napper.

Next, one must abandon any notions of productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. The goal is not to get things done, but to simply exist in a state of suspended animation, free from the burdens of responsibility and duty.

For example, instead of creating a to-do list, the Sloth-napper might simply stare at a wall for hours, contemplating the meaning of nothingness. Or, instead of making a schedule, they might simply let the clock tick away, unheeding the passing of time.
