Today, we're going to debunk the theory that cats are secretly plotting to take over the world. Or, rather, we're going to debunk the theory that you're experiencing burnout because of cats.
As it turns out, cats are actually just really good at sleeping, eating, and looking cute. They're not, in fact, plotting to overthrow their human overlords.
However, if you're feeling burnt out, here are some exercises to help you recover:
Take a 30-minute break and spend it with a cat. Not just any cat will do, but a cat that's actually interested in interacting with you.
Don't worry about the cat's mood; cats are experts at making you feel guilty for disturbing their beauty sleep.
After the break, try to recall the last time you experienced burnout symptoms. Was it really because of cats, or were you just stressed about something else? Reflect on that.
